I don't thik people as smart as the ones you name would actually say that a common vocabulary is a bad thing, or at least localized vocabularies. After all, some of them are strong proponents of language specific idioms, and isn't an idiom just another word for pattern, i.e. a common way to use something observed multiple times?Jay K.http://www.hobbit-hole.orgnoreply@blogger.com
